The carbon fiber fill is hygroscopic, meaning it will absorb moisture if left in a humid environment. If it does absorb moisture, you will notice weird artifacts or difficulty printing. To fix this, we recommend dehydrating the roll in a food dehydrator or via an oven before printing.
PLA (Polylactic Acid)
PLA is one of the most popular 3D printing materials because it prints at low temperatures, doesn't require a heated bed, and doesn't warp. Due to its low printing temperature, it's usable with 3D printers and 3D printing pens! PLA is a biodegradable material made from renewable natural resources such as corn-starch.
