Description
Color Description
A striking yellow-green that helps support Michael Hackney's blog, SublimeLayers.
PLA+ (Polylactic Acid)
PLA is one of the most popular 3D printing materials because it prints at low temperatures, doesn't require a heated bed, and doesn't warp. Due to its low printing temperature, it's usable with 3D printers and 3D printing pens! PLA is a biodegradable material made from renewable natural resources such as corn-starch.
What's the difference between PLA and PLA+?
PLA+ is made of the same great PLA but has different additives to toughen your prints, so they're even easier to print and more durable!
Why is this color $2 more?
This color is specially designed after the SublimeLayers blog by Michael Hackney. We wanted to thank him for his support and work within the 3D printing community. We did this by creating a filament color just for him and bumped the price by $2. The difference in price will go to help support Michael's work. If you have not checked out SublimeLayers, we definitely urge you to check out his tips!
There's only one rule: No Benchies with this filament!
Advantages
- Easy to print reliably.
- Low warping as compared to other materials.
- A heated bed is not required! We recommend using blue tape if you do not have a heated bed to prevent warping.
